CRESCENDO℠ is the game for the 2024 FIRST Robotics Competition. The game is themed around music and involves two alliances consisting of three teams each competing to perform various tasks, including shooting rings known as Notes into goals, and hanging on chains at the end of the match. Our 2024 Season Robot... Peely!
The 2024 FIRST®️ Robotics Competition Season, CRESCENDO℠, was the first season in which Team 3349 participated. We designed a light-and-fast robot with an uncommon handoff system, built to cycle quickly across from the source to either the speaker or amp. Our team participated in two district events and placed 50th overall in the state, winning a coveted Excellence in Engineering Award for our intuitive design!

Excellence in Engineering
The Excellence in Engineering Award celebrates the team that demonstrates a professional approach to the design process. In order to be considered for this award, a team must be able to describe the engineering process they went through and can trace elements of the designs from conception. Their designs reflect an engineering solution to a specific problem, and it is functional and practical. Design mechanisms are elegant and advantageous on the field of play. Team 3349 was honored with this award at our first district event in Orange County!
