In fall of 2023, Static Robotics was founded by a small group of FRC veterans hoping to spread FIRST® Robotics to a low-STEM area around Holly Springs, NC. The team started with only four members and parent mentors, working out of a garage. Static Robotics quickly grew to 20+ members, running out of various spaces around Holly Springs.
Since our recent start this fall, we have run STEM events for kids of all ages in our town, participated in community events like our town's annual HollyFest, and experimented with advanced drive system such as the West Coast Products SS Swerve. Our first season was a fantastic success, with Team 3349 securing the Excellence in Engineering Award at our first district event.
We compete in FIRST Robotics Competition as FRC Team 3349: Static
